Rocker Trace Cyrus is fighting to regain his voice in time for a concert next week (begs20Feb12) after falling ill with a suspected throat infection.

Miley Cyrus’ half-brother took to Twitter.com on Wednesday (15Feb12) to reveal he had caught a cold, but his health woes had worsened by Friday (17Feb12) when he found himself struggling to utter a word.

He tweets, “Woke up & can barely speak. I think I have strep throat. Really dont (sic) want to go and be (at) a doctors all day tho (sic). Got to get better b4 (sic) my show”.

Cyrus is due to perform two shows with his band Ashland High in Los Angeles on 24 and 26 February (12).
